配合全自動螢光顯微鏡和Leica LAS AF 操作軟體,共軛焦顯微鏡可進行多維影像(multi-dimentional)的觀察和影像處理。多維影像包括在同一樣品上觀察多種不同顏色的螢光強度,可同時偵測多種目標;z軸斷層掃描,依樣品的厚度指定欲掃描的上、下位置和光學切片的厚度,取得一系列不同z position的影像;時間序列掃描,觀察樣品的亮度或位置隨時間不同的變化情形;之後可將所有影像堆疊成3D影像,也可作各種角度旋轉,並輸出為連續影片播放。
